Katie Price, the former glamour model, has shared a deeply personal revelation about her decision to ban mirrors from her home, despite her extensive history of plastic surgery. At 45, Price has undergone numerous cosmetic procedures over the years, including a recent trip to Turkey for a facelift and ear pinning surgery. Yet, the reality behind her decisions may not be what many expect.
In an exclusive interview, Price explained that since moving into her new home in West Sussex, she has refused to place mirrors anywhere inside, not even in the bathroom. She admitted, “I don’t like looking at myself. I don’t think I’m pretty. I certainly don’t think I’m beautiful.” Reflecting on past photos, she confessed, “I look at old photos of myself and think: ‘Urrgh!'”
Despite her well-documented surgeries, including over 17 breast augmentations, Price revealed that she has never fully explored the root cause of her self-image struggles in therapy. “Perhaps that explains all the surgery—there must be something that happened to make me not like the way I look,” she said.
While Price has undergone multiple procedures to enhance her appearance, she clarified that she is no longer fearful of aging. “I’m not scared of aging. Although, I don’t think I will make it to be an old lady. And for the first time, I am happy with my face. No more facial surgery—well, not unless I make it to 70,” she added.
The latest chapter in Price’s surgical journey saw her traveling to Turkey for a sixth facelift, which included the ear pinning procedure. According to a source who spoke with OK!, Price tends to downplay the seriousness of her surgeries, but these procedures often involve significant medical risks. “She has to undergo various types of anesthesia and is doing it in a foreign country, far from home. Everyone knows partying after surgery is a very bad idea,” the source said.
Alongside her surgeries, Price recently addressed speculation about her dramatic weight loss. On Rob Moore’s Disruptors podcast, she denied using any weight loss medications or injections like Ozempic. Instead, she attributed her fluctuations in weight to factors like IVF treatments and a long recovery from a foot injury. “Anyone who’s had IVF knows you put on weight. I had three IVF cycles in the past 15 months, but they all failed,” she explained. “After breaking my foot, I couldn’t exercise, and I was in a wheelchair for 10 months. That’s when the weight came on. But now, I’m back to my natural size.”
Price also clarified that her son, Harvey, is the one considering the use of Ozempic for weight management. “I’ve had to sit there with the doctors when it comes to Harvey’s medication. But I don’t need Ozempic. I’ve always been skinny,” she said, confidently asserting that her body has always been naturally lean.
As Katie Price continues her journey with plastic surgery, IVF, and recovery, her openness about the struggles she faces highlights the complexity of her relationship with her appearance and the impact of self-image on her life.
