Pop star Meghan Trainor is opening up about her recent breast augmentation, revealing the results and explaining why she’s “obsessed” with her decision.
On March 6, the singer of “Made You Look” shared a before-and-after glimpse of her breast surgery in a video posted to Instagram, where she candidly told fans, “I got my boobs done!” The 31-year-old, who shares two young sons, Riley and Barry, with husband Daryl Sabara, described how the procedure came to fruition amidst a hectic period in her life.
“As you know, I’m in a super busy chapter of my life,” Trainor explained. “I’ve been touring, working, and mommying really hard. So recently, I’ve decided to do something just for me.”
Trainor, who has embraced a healthier lifestyle post-pregnancy, noted that after shedding weight and adjusting her routines, she felt the timing was right for the procedure. “After having two kids, living a healthier lifestyle and losing weight, I couldn’t be happier with my decision,” she shared.
The singer expressed long-standing dissatisfaction with her breast shape prior to surgery, citing issues with asymmetry and sagging. Her implants, she said, were specifically designed to reduce inflammation and provide a soft, natural feel. “These breast implants are the only ones in the world with smooth silk, a surface designed to minimize inflammation so the tissue around the implant stays soft. Honestly, they look and feel amazing.”
Trainor stressed that the decision to undergo surgery was a personal one, and she encouraged others to consult with medical professionals before pursuing similar changes. “I love my results so much. My breasts look fuller, completely natural, and they complement my body proportions beautifully,” she said, adding with humor, “They are finally twin sisters and not distant cousins.”
The “All About That Bass” singer also shared two clips of herself singing Lady Gaga’s song “Abracadabra,” one taken before the surgery and the other post-procedure, simply captioning the video with, “OBSESSED.”
Months earlier, Trainor had mentioned how a boob job could potentially boost her onstage confidence, explaining how difficult it was to find flattering outfits for her performances due to the need for extra support. She joked about how she had always been excited about the idea of a breast augmentation, saying, “I’ve always joked and said for years, like, ‘I can’t wait till I can get a boob job.’”
As Meghan Trainor confidently embraces her new look, her story joins a growing list of public figures shedding light on the transformative and personal nature of cosmetic surgery.
