During an interview on the red carpet with Entertainment Tonight, the My Wife and Kids star shared that she had undergone a “mommy makeover,” a combination of procedures designed to restore a woman’s body after childbirth.
Campbell explained, “I recently got plastic surgery. It was a mommy makeover. I had extra skin from the baby, and a little bit of drooping here and there, and they tightened me up.” The procedures often included a breast lift or augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction, and possibly buttock enhancement, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
The actress emphasized that her decision to undergo the transformation was about feeling good in her own skin. “We should be feeling good about ourselves,” she said. “I’m a single mom, not ready for dating, but I just wanted to feel good for me.” Campbell continued, stressing the importance of being honest about the reasons behind cosmetic enhancements. “I think it’s more important to be honest to know that I didn’t get all this by myself,” she explained. “It’s nice to be a little more snatched around that area for me. It’s not for everybody, but it was for me.”
