Teresa Giudice, star of House of Villains and The Real Housewives of New Jersey, has opened up about her decision to dissolve her lip fillers. The reality TV star, who revealed last month that she was reversing her cosmetic enhancements, shared the real reason behind the change.
In an exclusive interview, Giudice explained that her hairdresser’s own decision to dissolve her lip fillers inspired her. “I was like, ‘I like the way your lips look,'” Teresa said. “I don’t like to be the first Guinea pig to try anything, you know? So I saw that my hairdresser did it, and it looked really good on her. I was like, ‘Alright, I’m going to try that.'”
Giudice’s decision to embrace a more natural look has received positive feedback from both fans and her family. “I did like them before, but my kids were like, ‘Ma, don’t do anymore,'” she admitted. Giudice shares four daughters—Gia, 23, Gabriella, 20, Milania, 18, and Audriana, 15—with ex-husband Joe Giudice. She said her daughters’ wishes ultimately influenced her decision to stop using lip fillers.
“My kids, that’s what made me do it,” she said. “They were like, ‘Don’t do anymore.’ So, I decided, ‘You know what, let me try something different.'”
Despite initial apprehensions, Giudice found the process of dissolving her fillers to be surprisingly simple. “I was scared ’cause I didn’t know what it involved to dissolve,” she recalled. “I was nervous about it, but it was really easy. They just injected. I didn’t like the way my hairdresser’s looked at first, but mine looked pretty good afterwards.”
In a broader conversation about cosmetic procedures, Giudice joins a growing list of celebrities who have been candid about their cosmetic journeys. From face-lifts to breast reductions, stars like Gypsy Rose Blanchard, Brandi Glanville, and Caroline Stanbury have shared their own experiences with surgery and aesthetic treatments.
As for Teresa Giudice, it appears that embracing her natural beauty has been a refreshing change. Fans can tune in for more insights into her cosmetic journey and her life on House of Villains, airing Thursdays at 10 p.m. on E! News.
