With 20 years of experience as a physician, Dr. Diana Ponsky has established herself as a leading figure in the field of plastic surgery. She is widely respected not only for her exceptional skill as a surgeon but also for her groundbreaking achievements as one of the few women in a traditionally male-dominated field to hold double board certification from the American Board of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery.
The 51-year-old Pepper Pike resident is no stranger to overcoming obstacles. Dr. Ponsky’s journey to success began in childhood when her family fled Vietnam, eventually making their way to the United States. She went on to earn scholarships to prestigious U.S. universities before opening a thriving private practice in Beachwood, Ohio.
Her resilience and determination drive her commitment to giving back. Dr. Ponsky donates her surgical expertise to nonprofits, mentors young women pursuing careers in STEM and medicine, and works pro bono with vulnerable populations. Along with her busy surgical practice, which includes both cosmetic procedures and life-changing surgeries, she serves as an assistant professor at Case Western Reserve University’s School of Medicine. Despite her demanding schedule, she remains deeply involved in her Northeast Ohio community, finding ways to give back whenever possible.
