In a 2023 interview, Beckham admitted to undergoing breast augmentation surgery in the late 90s, a decision she now considers a personal regret. Reflecting on her younger years as a rising celebrity, she acknowledged feeling insecure about her appearance, which led her to seek out the procedure. “If I’m honest, I wish I’d never [gotten implants],” she confessed. “It was a moment in time.” Since then, Beckham has had the implants removed. In a heartfelt letter to her 18-year-old self published in British Vogue in 2017, she advised, “I should probably say, don’t mess with your boobs. All those years I denied it — stupid. A sign of insecurity. Just celebrate what you’ve got.”
While Beckham has been open about her experiences with plastic surgery, there is one procedure that she continues to deny: a nose job. In 2021, fans and media outlets raised eyebrows after she appeared on Good Morning America with what seemed like more dramatic cosmetic changes. Despite the speculation, Beckham remains firm in her stance that she has never undergone surgery on her nose.
In a 2019 interview, renowned plastic surgeon Mark Ho-Asjoe suggested that Beckham’s nose might have been subtly reshaped, noting, “It looks as though she’s had some good work done to improve the shape of her nose.” He added that makeup and contouring could also create the illusion of a narrower nose. However, Beckham, during a December 2024 appearance on Today with Hoda & Jenna, firmly denied the claims. “I’ve never, ever, ever had anything. No, never,” she stated, adding that she relies on “clever contouring” to achieve her desired look. “I like to draw,” she explained of her makeup technique.
With her open reflections on cosmetic work and her commitment to authenticity, Beckham has not only navigated her career but also used her platform to embrace self-acceptance and offer advice to others.
