A woman who flew to Turkey for a £6,900 cosmetic surgery package now says it was her “biggest regret” and believes she “looked better with the fat.”
Chantelle Woolston, 46, from Southampton, Hampshire, chose to get a tummy tuck and breast revision after losing 6st 7lbs, which left her with loose skin. The mother-of-two researched her options and selected a clinic in Izmir, Turkey. The clinic offered her an all-inclusive deal that also included a back lift.
Chantelle flew to Turkey in February 2025 full of hope. But after waking up from surgery, she immediately felt something was wrong. “I knew I’d made a big mistake,” she said.
Now, two months after the operation, she says her body still hasn’t healed properly. She fears stretching will “rip her in half” and describes her stomach as being “as hard as a block” with areas of gathered skin.
Chantelle, who works as an administrator, said, “I’d built it up so much and I was so excited to go. But now I really regret it.”
