Lindsay Lohan has recently become the talk of the town for defying aging, with many calling her one of the celebrities who seems to be aging in reverse. The 38-year-old actress is the latest cover star for Elle, and in her interview, she revealed the skincare routine, treatments, and diet she follows to maintain her youthful appearance.
“I drink this juice every morning,” Lohan shared with Saturday Night Live‘s Chloe Fineman. “It’s made of carrot, ginger, lemon, olive oil, and apple. I also drink a lot of green tea and water, and I’m obsessed with pickled beets. I put them in almost everything.” She went on to explain her “very specific” skincare regimen, including products and treatments that help her maintain her smooth skin.
Lohan also teased her upcoming beauty brand, mentioning that she’s testing out serums for products she plans to launch. “I’m testing some serums right now,” she said. “I also believe in splashing ice-cold water on my face when I wake up. I drink lemon juice a lot, and I add chia seeds to my water. I use eye patches every morning.”
A fan of advanced skincare technology, Lohan has recently embraced laser treatments, particularly the Skorr Glow device, which actress Julianne Moore promoted on Instagram. “There’s this at-home device I saw Julianne Moore use, and it looked amazing,” Lohan said. “It’s great for around your mouth.” The tool combines microcurrent, radiofrequency, and LED light therapy to help sculpt the face and reduce signs of aging.
Since giving birth to her son, Luai, in 2023, Lohan has noticed a change in her skin, which became more sensitive after pregnancy. “I did Morpheus8 once, but my skin is so thin now that I can’t do it anymore,” she explained. “After having my son, my skin became much more sensitive, and it really made me reconsider my whole skincare routine and diet.” She even took blood tests to identify any allergies. “I wanted to know everything I’m allergic to,” she added. “It made me more aware of how to take care of my skin long-term.”
Despite her dedication to her skincare, Lohan knows people often speculate about celebrities’ appearances, suggesting they’ve gone under the knife. She made it clear that plastic surgery isn’t part of her routine. “When would I have time for that?” she joked. “Where would I even do it?” In response to online trolls who criticize women for aging, she said, “You just have to do your own thing and ignore everyone else.”
