Buffalo Ophthalmology is expanding its team with the addition of two new doctors, Dr. Kelley Bohm and Dr. Taylor Fronczak. This expansion is part of the practice’s continued effort to offer the highest level of eye care to the Western New York community.

Dr. Kelley Bohm joins Buffalo Ophthalmology as a Cornea Specialist and Cataract Surgeon. She is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the Illinois Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Bohm earned her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, followed by an internship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Bohm further honed her skills with a cornea clinical research fellowship at Weill Cornell and a cornea and external disease fellowship at the renowned Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University. She has contributed to groundbreaking surgical techniques in the field and received several awards, including the ASCRS Foundation Resident Excellence Award and the Edward Norton Prize in Ophthalmology. With a strong research background and a commitment to advancing eye health, Dr. Bohm is focused on improving outcomes for patients with complex corneal conditions.
Dr. Taylor Fronczak earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Daemen University and graduated cum laude with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico. During her studies, she served as a tutor in biomedical sciences, ocular disease, and anatomy, demonstrating her dedication to both clinical excellence and education.
Dr. Fronczak completed her residency in ocular disease and primary eye care at the Erie Veterans Administration Medical Center in Erie, Pennsylvania. During her residency, she gained experience in managing conditions such as glaucoma, dry eye disease, and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Fronczak has also completed externships at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Batavia, New York, the Hollywood Eye Institute in Cooper City, Florida, and COSSMA clinics in Puerto Rico. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care.
The addition of Dr. Bohm and Dr. Fronczak strengthens Buffalo Ophthalmology’s commitment to growing its team and addressing the eye care needs of the community.
