British eyewear company Eyespace Eyewear has earned a spot on the Sunday Times’ Best Medium-Sized Companies to Work For 2025 list. The recognition highlights businesses that excel in creating positive workplace environments and prioritizing employee wellbeing.

Eyespace, based in Bromsgrove, provides its 50 employees with a variety of benefits. These include flexible working hours, annual eye tests, flu vaccinations, an increased holiday allowance for long service, and a peer-to-peer recognition system.
Also making the list in the “Best Big Companies to Work For” category is Optegra, a private cataract surgery provider based in London. Optegra, which employs 550 people, offers its staff free sight tests and even free eye surgery, along with private medical insurance, up to 36 days of holiday, and access to counselling, physiotherapy, and other employee recognition programs.
