Eye Health America (EHA), a leading integrated eye care platform in the Southeastern U.S., has announced its new partnership with Schneider Eye & Wellness Center, a renowned ophthalmology practice in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This partnership strengthens EHA’s presence in Northeast Florida and complements its existing collaboration with Bowden Eye & Associates, also based in Jacksonville.
Dr. Timothy Schneider, founder of Schneider Eye & Wellness Center, will continue to provide care at the Jacksonville Beach office while also performing surgeries at EHA’s Eye Surgery Center of North Florida.
Dr. Schneider, a graduate of Mayo Medical School, completed his ophthalmology residency at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He furthered his expertise with a fellowship at Minnesota Eye Consultants under Dr. Richard Lindstrom, a pioneer in ophthalmology. Dr. Schneider has previously served on staff at the Jacksonville Mayo Clinic before returning to private practice. Fellowship-trained in glaucoma, he offers a comprehensive range of services, including refractive cataract surgery, glaucoma management, and general ophthalmology.
“We are honored to welcome Dr. Schneider and his outstanding team to the Eye Health America family,” said Mary Lou Parisi, Co-CEO of Eye Health America. “His longstanding ties to the Jacksonville community and dedication to clinical excellence align perfectly with our mission of delivering personalized eye care across the region.”
This partnership marks Eye Health America’s 31st collaboration and further solidifies its commitment to improving access and quality of eye care throughout the Southeast. By joining forces with Schneider Eye & Wellness Center, EHA continues its strategy of partnering with patient-focused practices to expand services and adopt new technologies.
“This is an exciting new chapter for our practice,” said Dr. Schneider. “Partnering with Eye Health America enables us to enhance our services, integrate advanced technologies, and continue providing exceptional care to our community.”
Eye Health America continues its growth through strategic partnerships with top-tier ophthalmology and optometry practices, working to offer comprehensive, high-quality eye care across the Southeastern U.S.
