A medical mission offering cataract and pterygium surgeries is set to benefit around 600 individuals in northern Cebu. The mission will take place at the San Fernando Rey Parish in Liloan.
Screening for potential patients will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the same location. A minimal fee of P3,500 will be charged per patient, covering the costs of lenses and medications.
Those currently on blood thinners or other medications are advised to consult with their doctors a week before the scheduled operation.
Interested individuals are encouraged to arrive early to secure one of the 600 available slots. Patients are also asked to bring their own drinking water for the day.
This mission marks the 40th undertaken by a group of concerned citizens, who have chosen to remain anonymous.
