Laura Loomer’s appearance has changed noticeably over the years, coinciding with her rise as a far-right political activist and supporter of Donald Trump. In 2017, she openly shared that she was getting a rhinoplasty, commonly known as a nose job, and lip fillers.
“I am so excited for my nose job!!” Loomer wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post that July, as reported by Forward. “How could anyone say no to this? It’s life changing,” she added.
The procedures were performed by Dr. Joseph Pober, a plastic surgeon who also supports Trump. He proudly posted before-and-after photos of Loomer’s lips on Instagram, writing, “Notice no bruising or bleeding, just a #perfect pout!”
Despite years of public criticism about her new look, Loomer is not known to have had any other cosmetic surgeries. However, experts say that the two procedures she did undergo are enough to significantly change a person’s appearance.
Dr. Joel Kopelman, a facial plastic surgeon, explained to Nicki Swift that small changes to the nose can make a big difference. “The nose sits at the center of the face, so even subtle changes to its shape or proportions can have a major visual impact,” he said.
Adjustments such as narrowing the nose bridge, smoothing a dorsal hump, or lifting the nasal tip can affect the overall facial balance. “The eyes can appear more open, the jawline more defined, and the cheeks more harmonious,” Kopelman added.
He believes Loomer’s transformation was mainly due to the rhinoplasty and lip fillers, although it’s possible she also had non-surgical treatments. Whatever the case, her appearance from years ago is strikingly different compared to now.
