Actor and content creator Bhuvan Bam was recently pushed to address rumors surrounding his changing facial features after netizens speculated he had undergone facial surgery. The speculation started when a Reddit user posted a comparison photo, showing the YouTuber’s apparent transformation. Some users believed he had undergone surgery, while others argued that his new look might be due to his growing appearance in web series.
The online buzz reached its peak when a Reddit thread titled “Has Bhuvan Bam undergone any sort of surgery? Plastic Surgery – Doctor gives what God doesn’t give you” went viral. The post added, “He looks very different nowadays. Please don’t say it’s diet and aging. Hahaha, don’t make us a fool.”
As the comments rolled in, netizens started to dissect his look. One user noted, “I think something is different with his jawline… seems more square,” while another remarked, “He looks extremely different!!! Most probably on hair medication, his jawline does look different.” Others speculated about potential procedures, including a hair transplant or rhinoplasty.
The conversations reached a point where Bhuvan himself felt compelled to address the matter. In a lighthearted and candid post, he clarified, “Hi doston (friends), had a great time reading all the comments regarding my surgery (laughing face emoji). I also felt the same after looking at my changed facial structure, as if I had gone under the knife. But it’s just 60 minutes of cardio and one hour of strength training supported by a strict diet. It does wonders, trust me.”
To further explain, he shared a picture of his older self, saying, “Also, the second photo is almost a decade old. So, naturally, people’s appearance changes. A few weeks ago, I underwent a lip surgery because of a painful boil, also known as ‘mucocele’. It had to be removed because I’ve been prepping up for a show and had to be in a certain look. But thank you for your opinions, which are just ‘andhere mein lath ghumaana’ (doing guesswork) (laughing face emoji). Take care all. Lots of love.”
Bhuvan Bam, who rose to fame with his YouTube channel BB Ki Vines, made his OTT debut with the show Taaza Khabar in early 2023.
