Kylie Jenner has been turning heads lately, and it’s not just her public displays of affection with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet. While their PDA-filled outings have kept her in the headlines, it’s something else that’s been sparking equal attention online.
Fans, critics, and even neutral internet users have been noticing a significant change in Kylie’s appearance, particularly when it comes to her enhanced breasts. While speculation about plastic surgery is often frowned upon, in Kylie’s case, her transformation has led many to question if she underwent a procedure. British YouTuber Rachel Leary was one of the first to speak out, taking to TikTok on June 2 to ask Kylie for specifics on her breast augmentation.
In her TikTok video, Rachel said, “Girl, please can you tell us what it is you asked for when you had your boobs done? To me, you’ve got what I am looking for to have done in terms of a boob job. It’s the most perfect, natural looking boob job ever. They’re still big, but whatever way you had the implants, if they are implants, or if you had fat transfer, to me it is perfection. That is what I aspire mine to look like.”
The video went viral, and just a day later, Kylie responded in the comments section with all the details of her procedure. She wrote, “445 cc, moderate profile, half under the muscle!!! silicone!!! garth fisher!!! hope this helps lol.”
Her comment quickly became a talking point, with many fans expressing admiration for the natural yet enhanced look she had achieved. However, experts warn that what works for Kylie may not be suitable for everyone.
Dr. David Shafer, a double board-certified plastic surgeon based in New York City, spoke with Glamour magazine about the dangers of assuming that Kylie’s exact procedure will work for everyone. He emphasized that the patient’s body shape and size are crucial factors in determining how the implants will appear post-surgery. “You need a match to the patient’s anatomy,” Dr. Shafer explained. He noted that factors like chest diameter, height, implant size, and implant projection all play a role in achieving the right look, meaning the implant size itself may differ from person to person.
Another key factor in Kylie’s procedure is the implant profile, which refers to how much the breast protrudes after surgery. While Kylie opted for a moderate profile, Dr. Shafer suggests that shorter patients might benefit from a low-profile implant instead.
Perhaps the most intriguing detail in Kylie’s comment was her choice of a “half-under-the-muscle” placement. Dr. Shafer explained that this technique involves placing the implant partially under the chest muscle and partially beneath the natural breast tissue. This method helps the implant settle more naturally, creating a teardrop shape that looks more like natural breast tissue.
