Dr. Tracy M. Pfeifer, founder of Pfeifer Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, has been named the 2025 President of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (also known as The Aesthetic Society). A highly respected, board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Pfeifer is known for her strong focus on patient safety, education, and excellent surgical results.
Her new role was officially announced at The Aesthetic Society’s Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas. During the event, Dr. Pfeifer shared her goals for the year ahead, including a stronger commitment to education, innovation, and patient support.
Dr. Pfeifer is one of the top plastic surgeons in the U.S., especially in the area of breast surgery. Her career reflects the values of the Society: scientific research, skilled surgical work, and high ethical standards.
A Career Built on Expertise
With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Pfeifer is known for her careful technique and caring approach. She earned her medical degree with honors and was named the top surgical student in her class. She trained in General Surgery at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and completed a Plastic Surgery residency at NYU Medical Center—two of the top programs in the country.
She is also a leading voice in breast surgery. Dr. Pfeifer has been involved in several FDA clinical trials for shaped silicone breast implants and teaches at the well-known Atlanta Breast Symposium. For 19 years, she has led the live surgery portion of the event.
Leading with Vision and Purpose
As President of The Aesthetic Society, Dr. Pfeifer will guide the group through a time of rapid changes in the field. She plans to build on the Society’s efforts to improve surgical safety, provide trusted education, and increase public understanding of aesthetic procedures.

In her term as President, Dr. Pfeifer plans to grow online education programs, push for better support for board-certified plastic surgeons, and lead new public education campaigns. Her mix of academic skill, clinical experience, and dedication to teaching will help shape the Society’s work in the years ahead.
