Karoline Leavitt, the 27-year-old White House Press Secretary, is again the subject of public attention—but this time, it’s not for her political views. A recent photo taken during a White House press briefing has gone viral, fueling online speculation about whether she has undergone plastic surgery or cosmetic enhancements.
Social media users were quick to comment. One X (formerly Twitter) user claimed, “@The WH propaganda arm is Karoline Leavitt @PressSec, who’s had so much plastic surgery that her face is now a permanent Joker smile.” Others followed with remarks about her appearance, suggesting she’s had a nose job or facial fillers.

Leavitt’s professional background includes interning at the White House during Trump’s first term, serving as assistant press secretary, and later working as communications director for Rep. Elise Stefanik. She ran for Congress in 2022, winning the Republican primary in New Hampshire’s 1st District before losing the general election to Democrat Chris Pappas.
Following Trump’s re-election in 2024, Leavitt was appointed White House press secretary. Known for her direct and forceful communication style, she remains a key figure in the administration.
Her personal life has also drawn attention. In January 2025, she married 59-year-old real estate developer Nicholas Riccio, and the couple welcomed a son in July 2024. Leavitt returned to work soon after giving birth, signaling her strong commitment to her role.
