RoC Skincare has introduced a new program called the Empowered Aging initiative. This campaign strengthens the company’s dedication to healthy aging by combining scientific research, expert advice, advanced skincare, and charitable efforts.
According to Hillary Hutcheson, RoC Skincare’s Chief Marketing Officer, “Optimism and clinically-proven efficacy have been at the core of our brand for years. With Empowered Aging, we give women the tools they need to make smart, proactive decisions that support their long-term health and skin vitality.”
The initiative provides functional, emotional, and educational resources to help women feel and look their best throughout every stage of life.
Key Features of the Initiative
Launch of the Longevity Council
RoC has created the Longevity Council, a group of experts in skin health and aging. This team will guide the brand’s future by sharing insights and educating the public about skin longevity and wellness.
Members of the council include:
- Allie Egan, Founder of Veracity
- Chris Mirabile, CEO of NOVOS and member of the Longevity Biotechnology Association
- Dr. Florence Comite, CEO of the Comite Center for Precision Medicine
- Dr. Jeanine Downie, Board-certified Dermatologist
- Professor John M. Sedivy, Director of the Center on the Biology of Aging at Brown University
- Yasmine Cheyenne, Author and Self-Healing Expert
Scientific Research and Public Education
RoC worked with a board-certified dermatologist to conduct a skin study using eight women. They used RoC’s Line Smoothing Eye Cream for eight weeks. The Visia Skin imaging tool was used to track changes in the skin’s appearance around the eyes.
To promote this research, RoC will host a pop-up event in New York City from June 11 to 13. Visitors can learn their “True Eye Age” with Visia technology and speak to dermatologists about their personal skincare concerns.
Support for Aging Research at Brown University
RoC has also launched the Longevity Research Fund at Brown University’s Center on the Biology of Aging. This fund will support new studies on how aging affects the skin and contribute to the development of new skincare solutions.
Professor John Sedivy, who is part of the Longevity Council, said, “We applaud RoC Skincare’s vision of a holistic approach to healthy aging. We’re proud to partner with them to push forward research on the biological processes of aging.”
Continued Mental Health Advocacy
As part of its wider mission, RoC is continuing its partnership with the SeekHer Foundation to promote women’s mental health alongside physical wellness.
